X-League Competition Soccer

Competition soccer is for players who love soccer and want to take their skills to a higher level. This requires 3-4 days a week for training and games. X-league is a transitional league which takes a player from recreational soccer and prepares them for competitive soccer.

Why Blast?

Who is coaching?

• Shawn Kennedy will be the Head Coach for the X-League Team. Here’s his info: - Head Coach of Skyline High Boys Soccer from 1994-2006, 2011. - Head Coach of Skyline Girls Soccer 1998-00. - Director of Coaching for Salt Lake Scorpions for 1 season with 7 teams. - Asst. Coach at Impact 1 season, SL Scorpions 2 years.

- Along with Steve Hopkins formed Blast Soccer in 2006. - Director of Coaching for Blast 4 years along with coaching the U14 boys - National “D” License and finishing National “C” . - Played for Cottonwood High along with mens club for 9 years and indoor for 10yrs. - Teacher at Skyline High for 19 years.

What will it cost?

• The fall season runs from August 2011- Oct. and spring March- May 2012. Competition teams train and play more than recreational which requires other fees.

• Blast Club Fee $500 for the year (Includes: field, equipment, administration and training). • Uniform $65 (2 shirts, socks and shorts). • UYSA Registration $57 (required to play in the league) • Referree fees $45

*Tournaments & futsal fees for winter may be a possiblility if the boys would like to play and parents all agree.
